This small building was built for the king's wife, Maria Amalia , as a hunting lodge or escape from the main palace or schloss. Amalienburg is a beautiful palace within the Nymphenburg Park that is well worth visiting during your time at Nymphenburg. This is a leisure building and hunting lodge built for Elector Karl Albrecht's wife in 1734. The palace is the works of François de Cuvilliés and is considered a Rococo Masterpiece.
