One of Dade County's first public recreation areas, this 265-acre park on the banks of the Oleta River was designed by William Lyman Phillips and constructed by the Civilian Conservation Corps between 1936 and 1939. Greynolds park was one of my favorite places in that area I would ride my bicycle through there every day stretch and do gymnastics around the castle area and in the 80's 70s and 60s hippies lol we gather and play guitar and sing. A little buzz on a beautiful sunny day at Greynolds Park listening to happy music and being surrounded by good Greynolds Golf Course provides a 3,100-yard challenging layout. This par-36 course, designed by Mark Mahannah in 1964, is one of the county's most popular nine-hole designs for all levels of play. The course offers electric carts, reasonable green fees, and club rentals.
