Swellstop Primer Adhesive and Swellstop WB Primer Adhesive are used in conjunction with Sika® Greenstreak's Swellstop strip-applied waterstop in nonmoving joint applications, such as retaining walls, box culverts, penetrations, concrete pipes, vaults, slabs, elevator shafts, etc.Where to Use. Swellstop Primer is used for adhering Sika® Greenstreak's Swellstop strip-applied waterstop to concrete. One gallon of Swellstop Primer Adhesive yields 800-900 feet of Swellstop installation. Allow the primer to dry for a minimum of 2 hours until it is tack-free. Available in 1 gallon and 1 quart pails. Coverage. Cure Time Swellstop Primer Adhesive Approximately 800-900 LF per Gallon Swellstop WB Primer Adhesive Approximately 2,400 LF per Gallon. Allow Swellstop Primer Adhesive to dry for a minimum of 2 hours until it is tack-free. Allow Swellstop WB Primer to dry for a minimum of 15-30 minutes depending on temperature and humidity.
