WELCOME. The Champaign-Urbana (CU) Community Fab Lab is a makerspace located on the University of Illinois: Urbana-Champaign campus. For those who may not have heard of makerspaces before, a makerspace is a place where people with shared interests can gather to work on projects while sharing ideas, equipment, and knowledge. The School has several options when it comes to 3D Fabrication - some spaces are specifically student labs, others are dedicated to faculty use. Contact Mike Collins to arrange for an Orientation for your students (so that they may obtain 3D Fab Lab access), or to consult with him about the best space to utilize for your research.
