Cece Jones and Rocky Blue are two ambitious pre-teen girls growing up in Chicago with the dream of becoming professional dancers. They get the opportunity after auditioning for and earning a spot on the popular weekly dance show, Shake It Up, Chicago! Shake It Up, Chicago! CeCe's goals are supported for the most part by her single mother Shake It Up. Season 106. Rocky and CeCe's lives are turned upside down after a fire destroys the Shake It Up, Chicago studio. With the show on hiatus, the girls must find other ways to keep their dreams of becoming professional dancers alive. CeCe signs them both up for the Spirit Squad at school, Rocky's dad gets them a dancing gig at the Shake It Up! Chicago is a weekly dance show where CeCe and Rocky got their big break.
