St Blazey is a small town in Cornwall, England, United Kingdom. TONKIN. St. Blaze, usually called St. Blazey. In this parish is Roselian, or Rose-Sillian, an ancient seat belonging to the family of Kellio, and was lately the residence of Shadrack Vincent Vincent, Esq. in right of his wife, daughter of Richard Kellio, Esq. This Shadrack Vincent was the second son of Henry Vincent, of Tresimple. St Blaise Feast takes place in St Blazey during early February. St Blaise is the patron saint of the wool industry, candles and throats, and was once celebrated across the Christian world. It's said he was killed by being beaten with steel combs used to make wool from fleeces.
