The route continues until you reach Nanny's Rock and then brings you back through the woods, past the iron age hill fort and back to the start. As with the first route, there are some very steep inclines on this walk, but the viewpoint is well worth the effort. Kinver Edge walk 3 3.75 miles. This final route option is a further extension again Centenary trail. This longer walk takes in all aspects of the Edge, from the heathland buzzing with wildlife to leafy woodland paths with children's natural play areas. It takes in two different rock house complexes that you can explore, and spectacular views. This ramble crosses the county boundary from Staffordshire to Worcestershire and back Kinver Edge. This National Trust owned woodland escarpment has miles of good walking trails to try. It's excellent walking country with lovely heathland, woodland trails and magnificent views over the surrounding Staffordshire and Worcestershire countryside. The sandstone ridge also includes an Iron Age Hill Fort and fascinating red sandstone Kinver Edge Circular. Head out on this 4.0-mile loop trail near Stourbridge, West Midlands. Generally considered a moderately challenging route, it takes an average of 1 h 50 min to complete.
