Muncie Union Station was a passenger railroad station in Muncie, Indiana at 630 South High Street. As a union station, in earlier decades it served the Cleveland, Cincinnati, Chicago and St. Louis Railway (the 'Big Four') and the New York, Chicago and St. Louis Railroad (the 'Nickel Plate Road'). Made of limestone, it was built in 1883 in the Romanesque Revival style, for the CCC & St. L. Late-night talk show legend David Letterman began his entertainment career in Muncie when he attended Ball State University from 1965-1969.
