LoDo, short for Lower Downtown, is a bustling and historic neighborhood located in the heart of Denver, Colorado. As the city's oldest and most iconic district, LoDo boasts a unique mix of old-world charm and modern urban amenities. From its beautifully preserved historic buildings and vibrant nightlife to its thriving culinary scene and LoDo is the area of town where most tourists/visitors either start or end up. Besides the myriad of hotels, shops, bars and restaurants, there is also Union Station and Coors Field. There is a free shuttle that travels the length of 16th Street in a loop. This is where the action is! LoDo is one of my favorite parts of Denver as it's walkable, Denver LoDo (Lower Downtown) is the Mile High City's oldest neighborhood but is going through a time of renovation and revival. This area is popular with locals and tourists alike with plenty of things to do and tons of fabulous restaurants and bars. If you have not been to Denver,, you will love being in LODO.
