I'm looking at Bop sizes - 18x14, 14x14, 12x8. I could get a Gretsch Renown for $1000 or a USA Custom for $2000, wanted to check with anyone who has played or owned both kinds to see if there were any advantages to the more expensive USA custom. The Renowns are half the price, advertise the same materials, bearing edges, and similar hardware.
