Their territory included present-day Norfolk and parts of Suffolk and Cambridgeshire. Julius Caesar does not mention the Iceni in his account of his invasions of Britain in 55 and 54 BC, though they may be the Cenimagni or Ceni Magni, whom Caesar noteed as living north of the River Thames. Boudicca (d. 61 CE) was the Celtic queen of the Iceni tribe of modern-day East Anglia, Britain, who led a revolt against Rome in 60/61 CE. The Iceni king, Prasutagus, an independent ally of Rome, divided his estate between his daughters and the Roman emperor Nero (r. 54-68 CE).
