I ordered the Houston restaurant week menu which is usually a better deal than the main menu. I did not check the main menu until later when I figured the restaurant week was overpriced. In The Houston week menu, you can pick Appetizer, main course and dessert from a short list for each for $49. You can order them from the main menu for $42!!! This food was so delicious I thought I would "pasta way". Enough with the puns, Coppa Osteria was a delightful decor inside to go along with the immaculate food for my friends birthday. The octopus carpaccio was incredible. Citrus, salt, texture, they all melded together fairly well and just gave my tastebuds an absolute show. Coppa Osteria treated us well in 2023. We wanted to try something new from out usual Spaghetti Carbonara (which is great). Appetizer was light and fresh, well seasoned. Same for the Rigatoni, sauce was nice and light, I probably would want to try it with a different protein instead of prosciutto. Conner really enjoyed the shrimp scampi, I'm The Italian restaurant Coppa Osteria sits in the courtyard of a luxury apartment complex in Rice Village, and the swanky energy follows you through the front doors. With white tablecloths and candlesticks abound, dining at Coppa Osteria feels sweet and a little sexy. We had the houston restaurant weeks special, my wife ordered the burrata pomodoro, spaghetti carbonara, and zeppole. I got the meatball, chicken polenta, and tiramisu. The burrata was fresh, tomatoes were crisp, arugula was spicy, we always love this dish.
