It is located between Holywell and Prestatyn, to the north west of Mostyn.Penyffordd is a village and parish in Flintshire situated to the south west of Buckley and to the west of Chester.The name is derived from the Welsh language Pen Y Ffordd - meaning, literally, "head of the road". The resident population of Penyffordd, as measured in the 2001 Census, was 3,715. Penyffordd lies to the east of A550 road, south of its junction with the A55 North Wales Expressway.
